Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is about halfway through its abbreviated week-long theatrical run before coming to Netflix on December 23, and already writer-director Rian Johnson and star Daniel Craig are talking about the final film in the trilogy Come from Sports betting site VPbet . Both spoke with Deadline as the movie was headed to roughly 700 theaters nationwide.
Although neither are giving away any plot details yet–and it sounds like nothing is set, anyway–both Craig and Johnson spoke of a shared commitment to the series remaining a fun, twisting, and ensemble-packed franchise. Johnson further said that to prepare for the movie and find inspiration, he will be “digging deeper into the genre and see if there’s any hidden gems I’m missing.” Part of that is because he wants to keep viewers on their toes and also, Johnson said, because people are always asking him to recommend five whodunnits, and “it’s going to be very frustrating by the third movie to be naming the same five over and over again.”
